Below the village are the chapel and the Saint Jean fountain. For this you have to take a pedestrian cove along the parking lot “Square Athanase Bonifay” (under the Tourist Office).
At the same place stood a Gallo-roman villa, at least until 6th century. The fountain called the Bonnefont, inscribed in the historical Monuments on June 10, 1975, includes a tank located 4 meters deep. Its reservoir is fed by an underground aqueduct that channels the water from the spring of the district of the Defends. It was christianized under the name of Saint Jean-Baptiste. The first mention of the chapel date from 11-12th centuries, it was rebuilt at the end of the 17th century after a fire, it became communal in 1908 but was surrounded by private land. It is currently quite dilapidated.
