The Cadière d’Azur is at the heart of the PDO Bandol vineyard. You will discover in La Cadière the specificities of the wine of Bandol, the Vineyards will welcome you, on the program: visit of the cellars, explanation of the vinification methods and tastings.
The vineyard is spread in terraces on about 1600ha on 8 municipalities only. The particularity of Bandol lies in the presence of a minimum of 50% of Mourvèdre for the reds of the appellation.
This late-maturing black grape is very little planted in France, but here it meets the ideal terrain and climate. This wine-producing terroir offers you other quality wines: Côtes de Provence and Pays de Mont Caume wine.
